The problem
A school's work is spread across separate tools: admissions and results in spreadsheets, fees in a ledger, parent contact over phone and chat. Nothing shares a record, so every termly report and every fee query means reconciling by hand.
What we built
One platform where every module works from the same student record. Staff, students and parents each sign in to the parts their role allows. Fees are paid online through Paystack and posted to the student's wallet; results are entered once and published in batches; parents are reached by email and SMS from the same system that holds their child's record.

Engineering challenges
SMS that still arrives when a provider fails
Messages go through Termii first and fall back to Africa's Talking, so a single provider outage does not stop fee reminders or result notifications.
Campaigns that send on schedule
Scheduled email and SMS campaigns are dispatched by a management command run from cron, rather than depending on someone being logged in.
